“Macra’s Got Talent”!!!!

Are you a fan of TV shows like the “X Factor”,  “All Ireland Talent” and “Britain’s Got Talent” ?  Do you dream of bright lights and being a star!    By joining Macra na Feirme you could become part of a group participating in a great variety of performing arts competitions.  Some examples are –

Amateur Drama – a national competition for One-Act Plays, on a par with any other national drama competition.  Plays are judge by Drama League adjudicators and workshops are regularly provided.

Capers –  a national competition for groups who provide a 20 minute variety entertainment show with lots of “singin’ n dancin’” and comedy. 

National Talent  - a competition for individuals and groups competing in such areas as singing, set /modern dancing,  comedy and much  more.

You will find out about these competitions and a whole lot more by joining your local Macra club.

Performing Arts Macra

The Macra na Feirme arts programme plays an important role in many clubs around the country. From drama competitions to disco dancing, Macra members get involved in a wide range of arts-related activities and are encouraged to examine their own rural background through the arts.
