The three winners of the Macra na Feirme 'Stephen Cullinan Scholarship' have been announced.

They are Shane O'Loughlin (28) from Monastrevin Macra club, Co. Kildare; Lisa Ring (19) from Freemount Macra club, Co. Cork and Shane Carroll (19) from Baltinglass/Rathvilly Macra club, Co. Carlow.

They have each received a scholarship from the Irish Farmers Journal which enables young dairy farmers to visit New Zealand and work for six months, giving them experience of New Zealand methods of dairy farming while broadening their minds through travel.
