Bank of Ireland's Michael Lauhoff said, "Bank of Ireland is once again delighted to sponsor the Macra na Feirme National Leadership Awards.  The leadership shown by the contestants each year clearly demonstrates the calibre of the macra membership and their commitment to their local communities and beyond.  Macra na Feirme is at the heart of the agriculture community and Bank of Ireland is committed to provide financial and other supports to this sector into the future.  I would like to wish all the finalists the very best of luck as they face the final hurdle.  I look forward to welcoming them to Bank of Ireland's Head office in January for the awards night."

The national final is due to take place on Tuesday 24th January 2012 in Bank of Ireland Business Banking Headquarters in Dublin.
