There are only 1 day to go to what is to be one of the highlights of the Macra year - the 'Racing for Macra' night at the dogs. As clubs are busy selling tickets to their local venue, past and present members look forward to a fantastic night out and a great opportunity to get together.

As a club and national fundraiser, the ‘Racing for Macra’ night is taking place on Saturday, the 30th November in four venues across Ireland - Mullingar; Galway; Curraheen, Cork; and Kilcohan, Waterford.

Come and join us at our night at the dogs where there'll be entertainment, fun and maybe even a few surprises. Check out the event pages on Facebook for more information on what the after party is at your location!

Please make sure to buy your ticket from your local Macra club to ensure they benefit from your support. Tickets cost €10 and cover entry, race card, entertainment and entry to the national draw for a chance to win €1,000 or a hotel break in the FBD Castleknock Hotel, Dublin. So, even if you can't make it on the 30th, you're still in with the chance to win big!

For Macra members - as well as supporting your own club by selling tickets, you could be in with a chance to win a club outing to the greyhound track of your choice in January. All clubs will be entered into a draw for a free night at the dogs if they sell four tickets per club member.

There is also a competition on Facebook right now for members to enter their funny or interesting photos from their sales efforts in the hopes of winning a €100 One for All voucher - an ideal prize right before Christmas!
