Dear Member / Macra Mail User,

Macra is in the process of migrating the remaining small number of users of the Macra Mail service to a more reliable service, while retaining your Macra Mail email address, if you so require. This is necessary as it is not practical nor cost effective for Macra to continue to maintain a dedicated email service for members. You will be aware that the existing service has been problematic with an ongoing problem with spam and a variable quality of service.

If you are still using your Macra Mail email account and wish to continue to do so, can you please reply to me indicating this. If you are not still using your email account and/or do not wish to continue to do so, there is no need to respond to this email.

From next week, the link to Macra Mail on the Macra website will not be available in the usual location. You can continue to access your email by logging on to http://macramail.macra.ie/. This will also be available from the

'About' / 'Links' section on the new website.
