Callan Macra presents "Wax the Boys' Night" We have 10 brave men putting their bodies on the line for 100minds Childline and UCD Volunteers Overseas which two of our members, Christine O'Neill and Avril Collins, are heavily involved in. Fundraising is by way of the usual sponsorship method – each volunteer will be provided with a sponsorship card and with a target of raising €100 each. You can nominate any part of your body for waxing but obviously the more painful the target area the more generous the donation should be! The event will be held in the Big Wheel, Callan. Family, friends and other supporters are encouraged to come watch the boys in pain! On the night we plan to raise additional funds by providing your family, friends etc with the opportunity to personally pull the wax strip from your chest/leg/back in return for a further donation.
