Macra in conjunction with ICOS will host another Co-operative Leadership Program for Young Farmers in December 2015.  The Irish dairy industry requires dynamic and courageous leaders to ensure that it remains competitive and positioned to maximise the return to Ireland over the coming years. Macra, in conjunction with ICOS and Teagasc, has developed a training programme for young farmers to introduce them to the cooperative decision making process.

The course takes place on Wednesday 2^nd, Thursday 3^rd December & Thursday 17^th December in the Horse and Jockey, Thurles and Wednesday 16^th December in Teagasc Moorpark.

The course is supported by ICOS Skillnet.

Total cost to participants : €150 to include meals and accommodation.

Criteria: member of Macra and a share holder (self or parents) in a co-operative under the ICOS umbrella. Limited to 14 places.
