Purpose: Macra members in education, at work or during their social lives, have to engage with those around them. Much of the time it is important to be able to articulate and argue your point of view. Having the skills to do this effectively prepares you better, particularly for your working life. Our Impromptu Debating competition develops these skills, including the ability to develop and present an argument, critically appraise an opposing view and being able to think clearly and speak persuasively.
